Even as a primary school pupil I’ve toyed with the idea of becoming a doctor when I grow up.

A probable contributing factor to this thinking was the fact that my mother, known to people under the name of Albina Kramer-Krajnc, MD, was a plastic and reconstructive surgery specialist at the hospital in Maribor, due to which I have encountered medicine daily.

I have gained my first experiences at the Primary health centre in Ljubljana. Soon after successfully completing my professional certification exam I searched for work closer to my birthplace.
